About "Full Moon"
The story of this song actually happened.
It was 1974. I used to play music with a flute player. We called ourselves The Starving Artists. It was just for fun. We never did anything with it.
It was in La Mirada, California. One night we went to La Mirada Regional Park and sat down on the slope just above the "lake." Really, it's a pond with ducks and swans swimming in it. It's a very nice park, actually.
We were with a mutual friend, a girl. She had long blonde hair.
It was a beautiful night. And there was a full moon which provided us light, in addition to the park's lamp posts, although the park's lamp posts couldn't reach us where we were up there on the slope.
I was always impressed with the sounds that my Yamaha FG-75 could make with the chords of this song.
With a lot of my other songs, I'll admit, they're anything but commercially viable.
But Full Moon - if I do say so myself, I'd say this is one of my best candidates for a commercially suitable pop song, able to stand with just about any other.
I hope you like it!
