About "The Train Song (Medley)"
I've already given a description for the version of The Train Song that's in the "7 Songs" collection, in the 5th post dated March 29, 2026. Here is the link for that post -

But of course there are many differences with this version that's in the ALAICMI collection.
For one thing, I made this version as a medley. The reason I did that is like I have said a couple of times before, that during my own practice sessions, something that I often did was that I would play some of my songs in a particular order. Part of the reason I did that, like I've said before, was that it served as a kind of a memory aid.
But another reason I would do that was because there were times that it just seemed to me that some particular songs had a good flow, going from one to the other.
That was the case with these three songs.
What the three songs are is described within this video. The Train Song here is serving as my Grand Finale to the ALAICMI collection, because (1) it has always been well-received, and (2) because it's my one and only song that I've ever had played on the radio, and (3) because it's a fun song and I like it!
Like Fixed and The Pyramid earlier in this ALAICMI collection, when I recorded The Train Song, I attempted to record it as faithfully to the way that that it had been recorded in the San Diego recording studio in 1981. And indeed, it's pretty doggoned close to it, right down to the very same harmonica I played in 1981!
